Ted Pearce Interview

It was great to have Ted back on Bagels and Blessings!   Not only do I love his music and passion for the Lord but he's just such a sweet man.   What a fun interview!   Today's program featured Ted's music and a wonderful chat about the March for Remembrance.

Ted's newest album, his first studio release from Moshav Records, was "Emergency," which was released in November 2011. "Emergency" is all new Messianic worship music with a klezmer influence. Klezmer music is a musical tradition of the Ashkenazic Jews of Eastern Europe. Played by professional musicians called klezmorim, the genre originally consisted of dance tunes and instrumental display pieces for weddings and other celebrations. The genre has its origins in Eastern Europe.

Ted decided to take a more traditional approach on this new album. It brings one back to authentic roots of Jewish music, while incorporating Messianic themes.  Ted was blessed to have Phil York produce this CD. York is one of the best known producers in Dallas, Texas and has won three Grammy awards, including one for "Red Headed Stranger" by Willie Nelson.  To learn more about Ted Pearce, visit www.tedpearce.com.
