What a joy to have Judith back in the studio!   We were the Two Nice Jewish Girls today!!!   Judith is a wonderful woman of God.  Not only does she lead the prayer ministry at Congregation Shema Yisrael, but she is also an Elder and a dear friend.

God has given her many insights and she shared how He healed her of a broken knee cap in just 2 weeks, and also what He has shown her about getting rid of baggage!

What a blessing to have Sandy Arena in the studio!  Sandy is an artistic soul working from her Arts Illuminate Studio located in the Auditorium Center in Rochester, New York and from home. She is a movement, family and lifestyle photographer, writer, film-maker, and songwriter.

Sandy is the founder and director of a nonprofit, Christian ballet studio and ballet company called Yahweh Ballet which she closed in 2010 to be able to spend more time with her family. The studio was re-opened as a private business by her oldest daughter Alexis Gaetano – now called Mossa School of Dance - with whom Sandy now collaborates for many projects.

Sandy is a home school educator to her own children, as well as others as a photography teacher at Home School Academy. She teaches children's movement and pom pom cheer classes, and hosts God's Girl Princess Classes and more recently a God's Girl Princess Pageant.

Sandy is an avid runner having completed a full and half marathon in her lifetime. She was a former fitness instructor, as well as a newspaper journalist and editor, and a food and restaurant publicist in the greater New York and Philadelphia areas.

In all her endeavors, Sandy is passionate about sharing the joys of motherhood and family, as well as proclaiming Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. With God's help, vision and direction, she will fight for the rights of children and children's healthcare to the end with her traveling ballet production called The Life Ballet which has performed around the country in New York, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Tennessee, Indiana, Texas, Colorado, California and in Canada since 2008.

Sandy wrote The Life Ballet to memorialize her two unborn children's lives and share a story of regret and healing after abortion. The production signed with Verb Records in 2014 to adapt the live production to a feature length film with an original score—including songs written by Sandy—called "Arise Sweet Sarah" which will be released in September 2015.

Sandy completed a leadership training program in July 2012 in post abortive recovery through Abortion Recovery International's Share Symposium (ARIN) and now serves as a New York State ambassador for ARIN. She has been a guest speaker at pro-life events and on radio and television including The Miracle Channel in Lethbridge, Canada, TCT.TV, Scribal Advance Radio, Day Gardner's Radio, Monday Minute, and Kim Ketola Cradle My Heart Radio.

In 2009, Sandy was named as one of the 175 Empowered Women in Rochester in honor of the city's 175th Anniversary by the Rochester Genesee Valley Club.

Dr. Jesse Michaels Interview

Ron Finstuen & Jessica Gissen

It was a privilege to have Ron & Jessica back in the studio with me today.  Ron will shared how the Lord restored the relationship between Ron and his father, just in the nick of time.    God has perfect timing and allowed a trip to take place where there was healing, forgiveness and reconciliation, only days before the Lord took Ron's father home to be with Yeshua.  The Holy Spirit led Ron to give his father all that he needed to come to the Father through the Son. The Lord kept his father alive until he could deliver the message of Salvation to him. Ron said "I believe that God kept him alive until my father saw me, the real me, the man of God I have become. He passed away three days later with his head resting in his folded arms."

Ronald Finstuen, a.k.a. Coach Ron, has a background that spans 30 years of training and competition worldwide and includes sports, fitness and health.  He made military history by becoming certified and working as a personal trainer, and he was employed at a hospital for nine years. Over the course of the last year, he has been traveling the nation teaching his wellness class "Helping To Heal." He has taught thousands of people in various walks of life including children, athletes, elderly, injured, hospital staff members and many more. His hope is that every wellness class he teaches helps to heal an individual, a community and a nation.

Ronald also taught Israeli Krav Maga during this tour. Krav Maga means contact combat in Hebrew and is the Israel Defense Force combat training. In his 30 years of training in defense systems Krav Maga is his preference. He became a certified instructor in Krav Maga because he believes it is the most efficient and effective training for personal and home protection. Ronald views Krav Maga as a way to fight against antisemitism and as a way to protect people from violence.

Ron Finstuen Interview

Unfortunately yesterday's broadcast was not recorded at the station.   However I do remember parts of our conversation.   I asked Ron how did he know God was real.   He said he had been in Japan, had been doing work as a bouncer, and had been injured severely where he couldn't use his legs.   He prayed and asked the Lord to heal him.   He was fully restored and realized the power of God in his life.

Eventually as he read the scriptures he fell in love with the Jewish people and the land of Israel.   He was trained in Krav Maga and wants to help people - and our nation - to heal.

In his own words:

My name is Ronald Finstuen a.k.a. Coach Ron.My background in athletics - sports -fitness - health spans thirty years of training and competition worldwide.  I've made military history, became certified and worked as a personal trainer, and was employed at a hospital for nine years.  This last year, I have been traveling our nation teaching my wellness class entitled Helping To Heal which I have taught to thousands of people in various walks of life including children, elderly, injured, athletic, hospital staff members and many more.  During this tour, I have also taught Israeli Krav Maga. Heather Levine Interview

Heather grew up in New York City and was raised as a Reformed Jew. She always knew God and somehow felt that God was missing in her life at Temple.  For a couple of years during her teens Heather felt that she had lost touch with God. As she made her way through the world it seemed that her connection with God as a young child slowly changed. By the time Heather was in her mid twenties God was a distant memory. He was just high in the sky and "the universe" as they call it in New age traditions today. She had some depression, anxiety and really lost touch with God and any higher power for that matter. Heather's world became very small and she got very sick in her late 20's from a
mysterious disease. The doctors couldn't cure her. Then she met a Christian man who took her to church and that was the first time where she really knew that she was in the right place. The sermon that day was just what Heather needed to hear and that night she got down on her floor and asked Jesus to reveal Himself and help her with her illness. Months later she recovered and now she is so grateful and hasa close relationship with Yeshua.

Heather currently resides in Los Angeles where she works as a Human Resources Manager.  She currently attends Ruach LA in Los Angeles and plans to open a natural rehabilitation center for people with autoimmune diseases in Malibu.

Bobbie Barsky Interview

What's this program all about:  A tribute to fathers in honor of Father's Day and a wonderful interview with Bobbie Barsky.  Bobbie is a Jewish believer who has been walking with the Lord for almost 30 years. She and her husband founded Beth Hillel in 1999 to reach the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel. Bobbie operates in the office of a seer and moves in the gifts of the Spirit, particularly in Word of Knowledge and Discerning of Spirits. She is a natural exhorter who will bless you with her supernatural testimony/preaching/teaching. Bobbie is a disciple of Derek Prince, and has ministered deliverance for many years. She claims North Carolina as home, where she co-hosted a religious TV show. Bobbie holds a BA in English with a major in creative writing. She is an ordained Rebettzin & Messianic Minister.   Bobbie has an amazing testimony of how God healed her from lung and brain cancer.   Her husband, Rabbi Dr. David L. Barbara Kupferberg Interview

I met Barbara at a Women's Retreat in February of this year.   She's a delightful woman who has amazing faith.  Barbara was raised by an Italian mother and an Ashkenazi Jewish father, who immigrated from Eastern Europe in the early 1900's. Her faith began to develop at the age of eight after being healed from cancer through Yeshua.   She was conflicted on how to reconcile her faith in Yeshua while keeping her Jewishness; as far as she knew there was no Messianic Judaism.  She recommitted herself to Yeshua at the age of twenty in 1982 at which point she realized that she could live as His earliest followers did as a Messianic Jew.   About five years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer and fought it aggressively.   Barbara walks in total healing and victory in Yeshua!   Her positive attitude is contagious!   You'll enjoy this interview and music from Greg Silverman, Paul Wilbur, Ted Pearce and Zemer Levav.

Jenny Goetz Interview - part 2

This was originally aired on Bagels and Blessings in March, 2008. In this interview Jenny shared her experience with anal cancer (a type of skin cancer). She learned many things during this challenging time of her life. This was a horrible ordeal for her and her family and G-d helped them through it. Although the pain was almost unbearable, G-d blessed her with a strong support system that provided finances, love and prayer. She believed with all her heart that it was not her time to go and praise the L-rd, she's still here - cancer free!
