Ron Finstuen Interview

Unfortunately yesterday's broadcast was not recorded at the station.   However I do remember parts of our conversation.   I asked Ron how did he know God was real.   He said he had been in Japan, had been doing work as a bouncer, and had been injured severely where he couldn't use his legs.   He prayed and asked the Lord to heal him.   He was fully restored and realized the power of God in his life.

Eventually as he read the scriptures he fell in love with the Jewish people and the land of Israel.   He was trained in Krav Maga and wants to help people - and our nation - to heal.

In his own words:

My name is Ronald Finstuen a.k.a. Coach Ron.My background in athletics - sports -fitness - health spans thirty years of training and competition worldwide.  I've made military history, became certified and worked as a personal trainer, and was employed at a hospital for nine years.  This last year, I have been traveling our nation teaching my wellness class entitled Helping To Heal which I have taught to thousands of people in various walks of life including children, elderly, injured, athletic, hospital staff members and many more.  During this tour, I have also taught Israeli Krav Maga. Krav Maga is Hebrew for close combat and is the Israel Defense Force combat training.  In my thirty years of training in defense systems, this is my preference.  I have become a certified instructor in Krav Maga because I believe it to be the most efficient and effective training for personal and home protection and I view it as a way to fight against antisemitism.  My hope is that every wellness class I teach helps to heal an individual, a community, and a nation and every Krav Maga class I teach is a way to protect people from violence.

Ron is available to come to churches and any organization to lead seminars or to work with people one on one to show them how to get in shape.    If interested call his manager, Ralph Seta, at 775-283-8080.

Here is a link to a demonstration he did on God TV:

Terri Gillespie Interview

Today I welcomed Terri back to Bagels and Blessings.   What a fun interview!  Terri Gillespie is a wife, mother, grandmother, author and speaker. She is the head writer for the Restoration of Israel Minute heard on 25 stations in 11 states and Canada. Terri has also contributed to several other books, magazines and newspapers over the years. She published her first book, Making Eye Contact with God: A Women's Devotional, in 2008; and released her first novel, The Hair Mavens: She Does Good Hair, on October 1st.

Making Eye Contact with God is a weekly devotional for women only. It enables the reader to see God in a new and fresh way. Using real-life anecdotes, combined with scripture, the book reveals God's heart for women everywhere, and softly speaks of the ways in which women see God.
Gillespie's newest work, She Does Good Hair, is about a chic hairdresser on the fast-track to salon fame who is yanked back to her hometown when she inherits a rundown salon with three beauticians stuck in the '80s and certain to make her life a tangled mess. Only God could bring four of the most unlikely women together in a friendship that will cause a change in each of their lives— if they don't kill each other first!

For more information about Terri Gillespie, visit www.terrigillespie.net.

Today's program featured the music of Jonathan Settel, Beckah Shae, Craig Taubman, Debbie Chernoff, Lamb, the Schleps and Sean Spicer.

Linda Steinberg Interview

Wow, what a fascinating interview!   You'll be amazed at Linda's faith through so many challenges!   Before the interview you'll enjoy the music of Jonathan Settel, Corry Bell & Lev Shelo, Ray Chernoff, Barry & Batya Segal, Sue Samuel, the Schleps and Ted Pearce.

After 25 years in advertising sales and Internet marketing Linda Steinberg was prompted to write "Christ Proclaimed: a Jewish Believers journey with God". One hundred and forty plus pages later and still growing readers from around the world in many different countries have asked her numerous times how did she survive a childhood with a Munchhausen mother? How did she survive being stalked and raped at the age of 15 by a 19 year old male adoptee from a good Jewish home? How did she survive being sent away like a criminal to what was then referred to as an unwed mother's home?  How did she survive holding a child in for over an hour because the one labor room was occupied, while it was over 3 minutes before her child took his first breath.

How did she survive? God was waiting for her to turn to Him. Patient for His child to turn to His son the Lord of Lords, Yeshua and begin to write.

Linda is the writer of "Christ Proclaimed". Over the years her pages have been read by numerous people, too many to count.

Charlie Gardner Interview

Today's show featured a pre-recorded article with author and journalist Charles Gardner.
Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Charles came to England in 1970, at the age of 21, to visit his half-Jewish grandmother. He ended up staying, though South Africa is still home to him.
He became a committed believer shortly afterward this visit through the influence of a South African friend, through athletics. He worshipped at All Souls, Langham Place, a famous church in central London, for the rest of the 70's. He had a 'spiritual mother' who led the class for new believers, and she always referred to herself as a 'completed Jew'. One of the first jobs he accepted at the church was to write to some of their missionaries, and this included a couple who worked with CMJ (Church's Ministry to the Jewish people) among the Falasha Jews of Ethiopia. Charles supposed he had always had something of an understanding about Messianic issues, but this has gone much deeper in recent years through involvement in a Prayer for Israel group.

In 2010, while on holiday he had a strong word from God about being a 'Helper of Israel' and, being a journalist by profession, he eventually realized God wanted him to write a book answering the question as to why the Jews are so important to him. It's called Israel the Chosen, available on Amazon. Having just recently taken early retirement, at the age of 64, he intends to continue writing. He would love to see his longtime vision fulfilled —that of launching a new UK national newspaper reporting and interpreting the news (especially on the Middle East) from a biblical perspective.

Great music also -- from Beckah Shae, Barry & Batya Segal, Sue Samuel, Lamb, and John Waller.

When asked his  thoughts on the Messianic Movement he replied "The L-rd is removing the veil on the Jewish people as promised in scripture and is restoring the Church to what was originally established by Yeshua and it is tearing down the strongholds of Replacement Theology."

In the exciting interview Scott shares how his life was radically changed after he gave his life to Yeshua, the various signs and wonders G-d showed him along the way, and the miracles that have happened concerning the takeover of Bausch & Lomb  - and leading up to a new job opportunity!

Oxana Eliahu Interview

Today's program featured the music of Messianic recording artist Oxana Eliahu.  Oxana was born in Leningrad, Russia, now named Saint Petersburg, to totally secular parents.  In 1989, while a refugee in Italy, God spoke to her in a distinctive way, through His true believers and a prophetic dream. However, she was not convinced and still did not believe in God. She started to explore more about Yeshua. She wanted to know if He genuinely was the one that the Bible prophesied about.

Then one night she was attending a Bible study and thoroughly reading the book of John, when somehow she finally got a very strong revelation that Yeshua is the Jewish Messiah. That He is the Light of the World, the Bread of Life, and the Only Way!

She knew that she had acknowledged the fire of God's healing straight into Her heart. God has performed many miracles and wonders in her life. Oxana is a changed woman. It is nothing about her, but it is all about Him!

Rabbi Eric Lakatos Interview

Today I had the privilege to speak with Rabbi Eric Lakatos.  Rabbi Eric is committed to Messianic Jewish revival, seeing Jewish and non-Jewish people discipled as believers in the Messiah, and building the Messianic Jewish community here in Cleveland.

Prior to his rabbinical career in ministry and his faith, Rabbi Eric was born and raised in a secular Jewish home in Toledo, Ohio. While the family did not discuss their background, Eric grew up hearing stories from his grandmother, Lucille (Forman) Lakatos, about his heritage. As Rabbi Eric shares: "Lakatos is a Hungarian ethnic name, and it means 'locksmith.' My grandfather was born in Budapest. Our lineage was kept mostly quiet growing up, that is until I came to believe in Yeshua, and then my heritage took on a whole new meaning for me and my family."

At age 18, Eric was introduced to the Good News of Messiah Yeshua and received his faith in Him. Afterwards, he began his biblical studies at Southwestern Assemblies of God University, and the IAMCS Yeshiva; he also carries a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. In 1997, he became the rabbi of Adat Adonai Messianic Jewish Synagogue in Toledo, Ohio; he was licensed by the International Alliance of Messianic Congregations and Synagogues (IAMCS); and he served Adat Adonai for five years. He later relocated to Cincinnati; attended Beth Messiah Messianic Synagogue; and studied under Rabbi Michael Wolf who himself was a disciple of Martin Chernoff, whom is considered a Pioneer and founder of Beth Messiah and of the modern Messianic Jewish Movement in America.
In 2008, Rabbi Eric became the leader of Tikvat Yisrael Messianic Synagogue. In 2010, he launched "Light to the Nations," a teaching ministry to all believers sharing the Good News of Messiah, the Jewish Roots of the Faith and the Restoration of Israel.

In 2013, Rabbi Eric was given Smicha (the laying on of hands) and is an ordained rabbi within the IAMCS.

Rabbi Itzhak Shapira Interview

Wow, interesting interview!!!   Great music on this program:  Barry & Batya Segal, Ted Pearce and Sue Samuel.   I had the privilege of interviewing Rabbi Itzhak Shapira (also known as "Tzachi").

Rabbi Shapira has a teaching series on God's Learning Channel titled "What is God's Love Language?" The show airs on Sundays at 7:30 PM CST. He is also producing a new Web-TV program called "Yoshvim" where he will have different guests from the Jewish world who share their testimony for Yeshua.

Rabbi Shapira is the founder of Ahavat Ammi Ministries which translates from Hebrew as "For the Love of my People." Their goal is to reconcile Yeshua as Messiah to the Jewish people and train others to do the same. Ahavat Ammi does this by revealing Yeshua, not just through the Hebrew Scriptures but through ancient Jewish writings.

Tzachi's teachings often deal with the issue of the Deity of the Messiah. There has not been a single name that is more offensive to the Jewish people than that of Yeshua. He addresses the reasons Yeshua has been denied and rectifies them with ancient Jewish understanding of the promised Messiah.
In June 2013, Rabbi Shapira released his new book, The Return of the Kosher Pig. The book takes the setting of a court of law where evidence is presented for and against the claims of a divine Messiah.
For more information on Ahavat Ammi, please visit www.ahavatammi.org.  For more information on "The Return of the Kosher Pig," please visit www.kosherpig.org.

Ron Cantor Interview-Part 1

Today's program features the fabulous music of Corry Bell & Lev Shelo, Misha Goetz, Avner & Rachel Boskey and Barry & Batya Segal, and of course "Gimme Bagels" by The Schleps!   You'll love my interview with Ron Cantor.  Ron  is a Jewish believer who lives and ministers in Israel. He is part of the leadership eam at Tiferet Yeshua Messianic Congregation in Tel Aviv, Israel. He also directs a ministry based in Tel Aviv called Messiah's Mandate.

Messiah's Mandate is a ministry whose goal is to raise up young Israeli Messianic Jews into leadership. They also strive to open the eyes of believers around the world to the Jewish roots of the New Covenant.
Indentity Theft is the story of a Jewish man's desire for truth. An angel visits him and shows him how Jesus the Messiah has been a victim of identity theft. The protagonist wonders, "Is There a God?" Then, suddenly seized by the weight of not knowing for sure if there is a God–– and if there is, having no idea what He expects from him. David, a Jewish writer, begins a desperate search to find the truth. After looking into several religions and philosophies, he finds himself intrigued by the message of Yeshua (Jesus); yet, he is plagued by guilt. How can a Jewish person believe in Jesus after so many horrific acts have been done to Jews in His name? Just as he realizes that he could never reconcile his Jewishness and Jesus, an angel, Ariel, comes to take him on a Scrooge-like journey through time, where he witnesses major historic events. He is outraged as unsuspecting Jews are persecuted without mercy, even killed, by so-called Christians. He feels the torment of being cursed as a "Christ Killer" by Nazi guards and the terror of being pursued by murderous Crusaders. When it seems that he has every reason not to believe, he finds himself in ancient Jerusalem, where he meets some of the very first Jewish followers of Yeshua and discovers the Messiah Himself, has been the greatest victim yet of ... IDENTITY THEFT!
For more information on Ron Cantor and Messiah's Mandate, please visit www.messiahsmandate.org.

Next week:  Part 2.   Stay tuned!

Heather Levine Interview

Heather grew up in New York City and was raised as a Reformed Jew. She always knew God and somehow felt that God was missing in her life at Temple.  For a couple of years during her teens Heather felt that she had lost touch with God. As she made her way through the world it seemed that her connection with God as a young child slowly changed. By the time Heather was in her mid twenties God was a distant memory. He was just high in the sky and "the universe" as they call it in New age traditions today. She had some depression, anxiety and really lost touch with God and any higher power for that matter. Heather's world became very small and she got very sick in her late 20's from a
mysterious disease. The doctors couldn't cure her. Then she met a Christian man who took her to church and that was the first time where she really knew that she was in the right place. The sermon that day was just what Heather needed to hear and that night she got down on her floor and asked Jesus to reveal Himself and help her with her illness. Months later she recovered and now she is so grateful and hasa close relationship with Yeshua.

Heather currently resides in Los Angeles where she works as a Human Resources Manager.  She currently attends Ruach LA in Los Angeles and plans to open a natural rehabilitation center for people with autoimmune diseases in Malibu.

Features the songs of Craig Taubman, Beckah Shae, Debbie Chernoff, Joshua Aaron and Carlos Perdomo.

Misha Goetz Interview

This week features an interview with Misha Goetz and music from her debut CD, "Weight of Glory."  Misha, a talented worship leader, debuted her first album, Weight of Glory, on June 19th of this year. The twenty-one year old daughter of renowned Messianic artist, Marty Goetz, Misha has been on a journey towards her own Messianic music career for many years. She states in her bio on Kickstarter that she has been singing since she came out of the womb and playing piano since the age of five.

Misha started raising funds for this project less than a year ago on the website Kickstarter. Her page goes on to state that she wanted to make an album of worship music that speaks to people's hearts and brings them from the outer courts to the inner courts of the Most High God.  Truly knowing God in that secret place and making him known to a world that is so dark and dying is what worship is all about.  There's something about music that works in that process, stirring the soul, igniting a flame and evoking change by breathing on the deepest parts of our being that can't seem to be touched by words alone.
"I want to make an album of songs I have written that do just that" (Misha Goetz).
More information about Misha Goetz can be found on her website at www.mishagoetz.com.

Ron Goldberg Interview-7-13-13

What are some Jewish objections to believing in Jesus?  Today I had a great discussion with Messianic Rabbi Ron Goldberg.   It was great to have him back in the studio!  Ron was raised in a Jewish family in New York City. He began sneaking out to church during his senior year of High School. A friend then gave him the “forbidden” New Testament to read and Ron soon discovered that Jesus really is the Jewish Messiah. After coming to faith in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) his parents thought about having a funeral for him. Instead they sent him to a rabbi for deprogramming and intensive counseling!
Ron's relationship with his parents was very difficult for several years but giving them grandchildren helped restore their relationship. Ron and his wife Vinu are an inter-faith couple with 5 children.

For 28 years Ron has served at Messianic Congregations and spoken at churches and Bible study groups teaching Christians about the Jewish roots of our faith and how to share the Good News of the Messiah with Jewish people. Every week he reaches out to students on college campuses in Tampa Bay. Also on Thursdays Ron co-hosts a Bi-Lingual Radio Show on www.760radioluz.com.

Today's program also features new music from Corry Bell/Lev Shelo and Misha Goetz!

Marlaine Eberhart Interview

Today's program was hosted by my good friend Scott Cassity.   He played some great music and aired a previously recorded interview I did with Marlaine Eberhart.  Marlaine was raised in a Jewish home and became a believer at 19 years old and Raphael discovered his Hebrew heritiage in 2008. They met at a Messianic Congregation during Chanukah of 2010 and were married during the Succot season, October 2011. They were both in ministry separately. Now unified in marriage they want G-d to receive all the glory in their ministry. The Eberharts have a Torah Study twice a month, every 3rd and 4th Friday of the month starting at 7:00 p.m. at 2827 Galleria Drive Arlington TX 76011. They go all over the Dallas Ft. Worth Metroplex to serve. God uses them to breathe life into people and lead them to become what God intended them to be. According to God's leading they will give away shofars, bibles and other need based things.
These are the services that they provide:
Raphael specializes in Shofar cleaning and anointing directed by G-d. He also teaches proper usage of the Shofar and Anointing Oils.

Marty Goetz Interview

This program features the music of Messianic singer Marty Goetz.  In 1965, a thirteen year old Marty stood in front of the bima at Cleveland's Temple on the Heights for his bar mitzvah, solemnly singing the ancient words of the Torah. No one could have dreamed that he, twenty years later, would be an international recording artist.   After studying English at Carnegie Mellon University, Marty set out for New York City determined to give it two weeks to become a star or he'd go back to Cleveland and the family furniture business. After just a week, Marty and his performing partner Bert, of the duo "Bert and Marty,"  found themselves performing at hotels in the Catskills and were named the "Best New Act of 1947" at the end of the summer. After years on the road, Marty broke up the act, after Bert found Jesus, and returned to New York City. He worked there as a songwriter until 1978, when he shifted his ambitions to pop and moved to Los Angeles.
Marty began reading the Bible looking for a loophole after being provoked by the increasing number of believers in his life. A few weeks later, he realized with certainty that the Jesus of the New Testament was the Messiah his people have been longing for.
Within a year, he established a strong and passionate voice for Messianic believers.
Often called a modern day Psalmist, Marty Goetz sets scripture to music that leaves listeners spiritually moved, inspired, and educated.  Marty has the ability to lead listeners to a place of true intimacy with God.

Marty has been recording music steadily since 1985 and currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee with his family.  His albums include "Psalm Enchanted Evening," "Songs of Israel, "Hope of Glory," and "Songs of our Heritage."

Israel Nelson Interview

Israel has been involved in the Messianic movement since he was 5 years old. His father was a Messianic Rabbi in Long Island and Queens, NY.  He was Bar Mitzvah at 13. The Nelson family moved to the Galilee when Israel was 16 during the first Iraq war. They became a part of the local body there which is considered to be the largest indigenous Israeli congregation in Israel. When he turned 18 he began working at Galtronics, a company founded to employee believers and Israelis in Tiberias. They became the largest private employer in the city through many miracles and in spite of much persecution. Israel met his wife, Cindy, in Tiberias through a set of miraculous circumstances and they've been married for 15 years and have 8 children and 1 on the way. In 2007 they left Israel and were not allowed to return because of problems with their visa. At that time the Nelsons relocated to Phoenix, Arizona where Galtronics had its US headquarters. In 2009 the Lord told Israel to fast and seek Him. During that time God said he was going to leave Galtronics and move into full-time ministry. In 2010 Israel became the Executive Pastor of Bethel Church in Phoenix. Their mission is to plant 10 churches by the year 2020 in the Phoenix area. Israel also stays connected with various Messianic Ministries.  He will be travelling to Israel on Sunday, June 2, and it will be the first time back since 2009. Israel says "I've been so blessed to see how God has kept us so connected with the Land and His people!"   Great music...and great interview!

Renate Kaufmann Interview

This interview originally aired in April, 1999.  Renate grew up in Cologne, Germany. Hidden as a child, Renate survived the Holocaust.   Renate shares her surprise when she learned that she was Jewish, the tragedy of her father's death and the faith that he taught her.  This faith carried her through many tough times.  Through Yeshua, Renate learned to forgive those that harmed her father.   A poet, artist and former seamstress, Renate wrote about her experience during the Holocaust in her book, "Justify Us Through Your Life."  She also published a book of her poems called "I Survived the Holocaust." She currently resides in Israel, although originally she was denied citizenship by the Israeli government because of her belief in Yeshua as Messiah.  Her court case was handled by the Jerusalem Institute for Justice.  Renate has now been granted permanent residency in Israel.   Pray for her as she adjusts to living in the land of our forefathers!

Mark David Smith Interview

Mark David Smith is the producer of LAMB Messianic Radio.  He was born to a non-practicing Jewish father and a Baptist mother and was raised in the Baptist faith.  He used to be a "Hell Fire and Damnation" preacher and he decided to visit Israel so he could walk where Jesus walked.  While there, he met a cantor on the tour from a Messianic congregation in Fort Worth, Texas who questioned Mark on his doctrine.  This was a turning point in his life, when he "flipped" to Messianic Judaism.

An author and worship leader, Mark has a passion for communication. When he was fourteen years old, he boldly went to the owner of a local radio station and told him he wanted his own radio show on his station. The station manager gave it to him. It lasted for three and a half years. Mark has been behind the scenes and in front of people since that day. Thirty six out of fifty eight years of his life he has served God.  Lamb Radio was launched September 4, 2012.

Enjoy the music of Paul Wilbur, Sue Samuel, Zemer Levav, The Schleps and Daniel Kopp/Sarah Liberman!

Jeff Koch Interview

Today's show features the music of Jeff Koch.  Jeff Koch is a singer/songwriter making spiritually themed roots-rock music reminiscent of Eric Clapton, Jack Johnson, and Cat Stevens - or maybe Bob Dylan!

Jeff's musical journey began at the University of Michigan, where he graduated with a degree in English literature and discovered a knack for putting music and words together.  As a listener, Jeff cut his teeth on "classic rock," quickly ranging out to funk, folk, and world music.  As a performer, Koch's instinct for language evokes the feel of a folk story nestled in a rich tapestry of rhythm and blues.

As you will hear in the interview, after coming to faith after college, these musical styles merged with his faith and Jewish identity to produce an organic and alluring blend.  In his music, Jeff weaves together scripture and liturgy with broad American roots to create an addictive, groove-oriented sound which crosses traditional boundaries.   Through his music, Jeff's goal is to encourage and build bridges of hope.

Enjoy!

Christine Sakakibara Interview

Christine totally amazes me.   She is fearless and determined to do whatever G-d calls her to do, and to go wherever He calls her to go.   I admire her very much and love her humor.   Here's a little bit about her:  Christine was born in Australia, but feels she is a true "Jerusalemite."  She has lived in Israel for 38 years, where she met and married her Japanese husband. Christine has lived through wars, terror attacks, and adversity of all kinds in Israel. She believes in miracles and has experienced them first-hand on numerous occasions. Christine is a keen observer of International news and wants people to be aware of the true face of life in Israel. Her perspective is one written from the heart of a mother. She works to bring help and assistance to all manner of people, living in Israel (regardless of race or religion) -  similar to that which is spoken of in 1 Cor. 12:28: "And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, governments, diversities of tongues." Christine's experiences and heart for people will offer an insightful and heart warming interview that is not to be missed.    There you have it -- great music and a great interview, what more could you want?   Oh, maybe you should grab a cup of coffee and a bagel, put your feet up, and relax.   You'll love this show!

Stewart Winograd Interview

This show features my interview with Messianic Rabbi Stewart Winograd, of Reach Initiative International (RII).  RII is a ministry dedicated to reaching out with the good news of Yeshua to Israel and the nations, serving the poor and needy, equipping believers for effective ministry, and mobilizing the next generations to impact their world.

In a world where poverty and hunger are rampant, they are personally committed to living a simple and modest lifestyle. RII is bringing Yeshua's love to the poor and needy by providing them with practical and material help – no strings attached. G-d's love is unconditional, and, in Stewart's words, "though we are weak and broken vessels, we are wholeheartedly committed to following His example of unconditional love for all people. It is this kind of love, G-d's love that touches and turns hearts to Him!"

Through Generation Next Stewart and his wife Chantel are mobilizing and training a host of believers to impact their world. They are passionate about imparting to young people a vision for an intimate walk with Yeshua, which in turn births a lifestyle of compassionate outreach to their peers.   They have planted many congregations in the former Soviet Union and G-d continues to enlarge their tents.

Barbara Kupferberg Interview

I met Barbara at a Women's Retreat in February of this year.   She's a delightful woman who has amazing faith.  Barbara was raised by an Italian mother and an Ashkenazi Jewish father, who immigrated from Eastern Europe in the early 1900's. Her faith began to develop at the age of eight after being healed from cancer through Yeshua.   She was conflicted on how to reconcile her faith in Yeshua while keeping her Jewishness; as far as she knew there was no Messianic Judaism.  She recommitted herself to Yeshua at the age of twenty in 1982 at which point she realized that she could live as His earliest followers did as a Messianic Jew.   About five years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer and fought it aggressively.   Barbara walks in total healing and victory in Yeshua!   Her positive attitude is contagious!   You'll enjoy this interview and music from Greg Silverman, Paul Wilbur, Ted Pearce and Zemer Levav.

Eric Tokajer Interview

I first interviewed Rabbi Eric Tokajer 4 years ago and decided to re-air it on Saturday March 30.   Rabbi Eric was the editor of The Messianic Daily News website. That website was updated daily with news that pertained to the Messianic Jewish people. Since the induction of that website in 2006, the website grew rapidly.  In the beginning of 2012 the Messianic Daily News began merging with the Messianic Times.  This merger was completed in July of 2013.  Since this merger the Messianic Times website has over 30,000 hits a month from over 100 countries.

Raised in a traditional Jewish home, Rabbi Tokajer began study the Hebrew scriptures closely and questioned much of what he had been taught.  When unable to get answers from his rabbis, he became agnostic.

While serving in the United States Navy, Rabbi Tokajer challenged a believer in Yeshua to study the scriptures with him until he found the answers within them.  During this time of study, Rabbi Tokajer accepted Yeshua as his promised Messiah of Israel.
Now, thirty-one years later, he is an ordained Rabbi of the International Alliance of Messianic Congregations and Synagogues (IAMCS).  He has helped to establish five congregations across the Gulf Coast including Slidell, Louisiana, Pascagoula, Mississippi; Foley and Spanish Fort, Alabama; and Pensacola, Florida.  He has served as Rabbi of the Tree of Life Messianic Congregation in Mobile, Alabama and is currently the Messianic Rabbi of Brit Ahm Messianic Synagogue in Pensacola, Florida.

Daniah Greenberg is the President of the Messianic Jewish Family Bible Project (MJFB).
In 2005, Daniah began writing the popular Golden Apples Messianic Jewish Children’s Curriculum currently used in over 80 Messianic congregations in America. This led to her traveling to more than 50 Messianic synagogues and 35 Messianic conferences over the last few years as her message of “a Messianic Family Bible” for the children turned into a rallying cry for the needs of the next generation of Messianic Youth in America to have a future and a hope of their own.

Daniah is the spokesperson and chief fundraiser for the Tree of Life Version (TLV) project and shares about it everywhere possible. More than forty Messianic ministries are involved in funding this work so far. Her multi-modality speaking style appeals to young and old alike.
